Florie, a twenty-eight-year-old Creole woman and single mother from the Reunion Islands, participates in the Reunion’s most famous ultramarathon, La Diagonale des Fous. Over three days and three nights, she finds herself confronted by the demons of her past. Will she manage to overcome her inner barriers and to rediscover the only freedom that really counts?

From La Réunion, she has been writing since her early childhood. She has been teaching French for 15 years in France and La Réunion. In 2004 she joined a Canadian School and trained in scripts. Her first screenplay Kwassa Kwassa gained the Special Jury Honorous Oceans Award 2015. Her second script Tangente – Prizewinner of the Oceans Award 2016- is her first filmmaking.
