SAUNA SECURITY – Nils Knoblich (Germany, 2022) 8’16”

A group of naked people sits in a sauna and sweats. The sauna masters ensure peace and order. But when the violations of the rules by the participants escalate, the sauna masters take drastic measures, which in the end not only endanger the sauna guests, but ultimately also the sauna masters themselves.

Nils Knoblich (born 1984) is a comic book artist and animation filmmaker. His graphic novel Fortmachen was published by Edition Moderne. His short film From Dad To Son was screened at over 160 international film festivals and received several awards.

By day he also works as a lecturer at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg for experimental shortfilms. By night he djs under the alias DJ Knoblikör.
